Winter Drive
One in eight households in Canada is food insecure, and 17% of Canadian children currently experience poverty. These are rather surprising facts for most people as poverty is a hidden problem in Canada. Nonetheless, as winter creeps closer and closer, many Canadians don't have
the privilege of being able to afford proper winter
attires or a healthy, sufficient diet for their family
and/or themselves.
In the good spirits of the holiday season, we
wish to unite everyone to make a difference
by giving non-perishable food items and winter apparels that are new or gently-used to those who are less fortunate.
